You’ll have our guest suite to yourself with a kitchenette, bathroom with tub, bedroom with queen bed, and sitting room with space to watch TV, eat, or work. It’s full of historic 1930s charm with all the modern amenities you need for a comfortable stay.
Astoria is a vibrant, safe, fun neighborhood. Our quiet street is two blocks from Ditmars Boulevard, a lively area of shops, restaurants and bars, and three blocks from the Astoria-Ditmars subway station for a 15 minute ride to Manhattan.
Time Out has called Astoria one of the ten coolest neighborhoods in the world, and we don’t disagree. Our house is on a very quiet street but within a few blocks you will find dozens of restaurants, bars, and shops catering to all kinds of interests and budgets. Food and pharmacies are available 24-hours. There are several parks and playgrounds nearby, the largest being Astoria Park on the waterfront with rolling lawns overlooking the city skyline as well as a running track, outdoor gym, playground, soccer field, skate park, and an Olympic-size swimming pool in summer. Public transportation is easy here, with subways, buses, and Citibikes all great options to get you around. We’re five minutes from LGA and 30 to JFK by cab (subject to traffic, of course).

Drivers will easily find free street parking within blocks of our place, and our neighborhood has quick access to the major freeways leading to the other boroughs of NYC as well as NJ, CT, and Long Island.
